I’ve used GPS fence collars for years with our guardian dog, so I wanted to compare the top 3 honestly. PetSafe is the most budget-friendly and works well in open areas, especially for smaller dogs, but the collar itself feels cheaper and isn’t my favorite for wooded property. Halo Collar 5 has the nicest app, fun collar colors, and the most “smart collar” feel, but the boundary consistency wasn’t great in my testing — especially in the woods. I’m also not a fan of the pulsed corrections! SpotOn Nova is definitely the most expensive, but it was also the most durable, had the least GPS drift, worked the best in dense tree coverage, and doesn’t require a subscription for fencing. #dogproducts #livestockguardiandog #spotonfence #halocollar #petsafe
